Techstravaganza:
TJHSST’s annual flagship outreach event

A free, open to the public hands-on STEM activity fair for elementary and middle school students, Techstrav attracts hundreds of attendees in Northern Virginia every year.

Over 300 TJ student and teacher volunteers interact with bright young students through various engaging STEM activities and demonstrations, including lava lamps, banana DNA, CS workshops, student robotics teams, and other science and mathematics exhibits.

Tomorrow's Women in Science and Technology

Tomorrow’s Women in Science and Technology (TWIST) is a student-run STEM outreach organization at TJHSST.

Our goal is to encourage students from diverse and low-income backgrounds to pursue STEM subjects. We work with other student organizations to conduct outreach within our local community - to ignite a passion for STEM in elementary and middle school students.

How You Can Help

We would love if representatives from your organization could come host a display or demonstration at Techstrav!

Sponsors and exhibitors will receive exclusive benefits, including the chance to network with bright high school students and display their logo on our flyers and t-shirts.
